SERVICES / PCB BUILDING MATERIAL REMEDIATION
AES Remedial Contracting, LLC has provided comprehensive turnkey remediation services for over 15 years. We have expanded our service to include PCB Building Material Remediation in addition to our site/soil clean up capacity.
Most renovation projects now include testing of glazing, caulks, roofing and substrates for PCB contamination. The Federal EPA issues a guidance document regarding PCB's in building materials in September 2009 and more recently in October 2012 a clarification was issued specifically regarding caulk and substrates. In April 2013 another clarification was issued regarding recycling facilities and PCB containing plastics. These regulations are in flux and being unaware of the most recent regulatory clarification can cost the owner on their project.
AES has extensive experience with the PCB regulations and requirements. We can remediate your PCB materials related to your renovation project. AES can address PCB on the windows, affected substrates and related soil/concrete or asphalt contamination. Let us help you price the job effectively and assist in submitting work plans as well as regulatory interpretation.
PCB building materials have come to the forefront in the past few years. Our staff can assist you in developing a strategy to control costs in both remediation and disposal. Our value engineering approach will enable us to provide the most effective solution to your PCB remediation needs. Notification requirements, record keeping and specific disposal options are critical to understand in order to provide a cost effective clean-up. Let AES help you navigate the maze of requirements for the Federal EPA regulations as well as State of CT requirements for PCB disposal.
